On March 02, 2020, a working meeting of the coordinators of the international project “Court, citizens, society, state: cooperation for change” was held with judges of Izmail City District Court of Odessa region, representatives of the Bar and prosecutor’s office of the city of Izmail.
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the content and essence of the Guidelines for organizing criminal and civil proceedings, which were developed by judges of pilot courts of Odessa region, attorneys and prosecutors engaged in professional activities in Odessa region. Among other things, the participants also discussed the stages of implementing the Guidelines and made their suggestions.
The Guidelines for organizing effective judicial proceedings are designed to make justice more transparent and predictable for the population, which will lead to an increase in the authority of justice in society.
