A working meeting was held in Malinovsky District Court on the projects “Guidelines for organizing effective criminal proceedings” and “Guidelines for organizing effective civil proceedings”

On March 06, 2020 in Malinovskiy District Court of Odessa a working meeting was held on the projects “Guidelines for organizing effective criminal proceedings” and “Guidelines for organizing effective civil proceedings”

The meeting was attended by Deputy President of Odessa Court of Appeal Andriy Drishlyuk, project team member Viktoria Bondar, President of Malinovsky District Court of Odessa Leonid Lichman, together with the deputies and judges of the Criminal and Civil Chamber, international expert of the project, judge-speaker Deputy President of Amsterdam District Court (Kingdom of the Netherlands) Ester De Roy, international expert of the project, adviser on the rule of law of the Regional Representative Office of the advisory mission of the European Union (EUAM) in Ukraine Simon Van Der Schenck, expert in the field of quality of justice, professor of the University of Utrecht (Kingdom of the Netherlands) Philip Lanbrook, chairman of the board of the NGO expert and analytical agency ” 2 May group” Tetiana Gerasimova and members of the project working group.

During the working meeting, the participants discussed the content of the Guidelines (with additions after discussing the Guidelines with representatives of the prosecutor’s office and the Bar), as well as methods of implementing the Guidelines in Malinovsky District Court.
