On October 11, 2019, a work meeting of the coordinators of the international project “Court, citizens, society, state: cooperation for change” was held with judges of the Izmail City District Court of Odessa region and the bar community representing the interests of their clients in this court.
The working group of the project was represented by the project coordinators, namely: Deputy Chairman of Odessa Appellate Court Andrey Drishlyuk and judge of Ochakovsky City District Court of Mykolaiv region Tatyana Shevyrina.
Esther De Roy, the Deputy Chairman of Amsterdam District Court, also visited Izmail City District Court of Odessa region as an expert of the project and a member of the working wroup.
Representatives of Odessa region Bar Council at the event were attorneys Alexander Kozlov and Vladimir Zubar.
During the meeting, the participants discussed possible ways to implement the “Guidelines for organizing effective legal proceedings” in practice, as well as ways to convey the content of these rules to the participants in proceedings.
